Let's start with the positives. The value for money at the hotel was great, especially considering thenice and neat room we got. The location was also perfect, with all the main attractions within a short 15-minute walk. The staff were great, offering excellent service and even helping us make dinner reservations on our way to the hotel.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better would be a more diverse menu with a wider selection of options.

Great location and spacious room with comfy beds. The staff was hospitable, and we loved the tasty breakfast. The hotel also has secure parking, which was a bonus.
We had a terrible experience due to the noise. The hotel is situated right beside a train station, so we heard the trains early in the morning.

Had a fabulous stay at this "historic" hotel, loved the "charming" old bathroom fittings and the "comfy" postcard-sized pillow. The dark and gloomy atmosphere really added to the horror film experience. Highly recommend!
The delightful surprise of a leaking sink really gave our stay that extra touch of excitement.

The hotel's location right beside the train tracks is great for early morning travelers, as you can hear the trains passing by from your window. it's just opposite the train station which makes it very convenient to travel. the room was clean, airy and spacious and the beds were comfortable. the breakfast had a lot of options and the service was friendly. the bathroom was well-equipped, which was a big advantage.
The pool was closed under construction and the view wasn't very attractive which was a bit disappointing.

The hotel was conveniently located with easy access to the city centre and it offered off-street parking. the staff was friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to help us with our restaurant reservations. We also enjoyed the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel which added to our holiday experience.
the noise level in the rooms was unbearable, with constant noise from the nearby train station disrupting our sleep.
